shoulder Arthroscopy

Shoulder arthroscopy is a minimally invasive surgery that treats shoulder joint pathology

This intervention is indicated in case of:

• Rotator cap injuries
• Calcification
• Acromioclavicular dislocation
• Biceps tendinopathy
• Subacromial conflict
• Acromioclavicular arthropathy
• Instabilities / dislocations
• Nervous release

This operation is generally performed under general anesthesia, combined with localoregional anesthesia to reduce post-operative pain. After the intervention, the dressings must be changed every 2 days for 21 days. Stitches are removed at that time. Specialized rehabilitation is recommended after the procedure. Cryotherapy (shoulder icing) is effective in reducing post-operative hematoma.
